Oktoberfest and Farm to Fork Hawaii

Aloha Friends!

On October 22, 2011 at 5:00 pm Farm to Fork Hawaii will be hosting our very own locavore Oktoberfest. Stay tuned next week we will be posting tons of information about the food and the event including Oktoberfest fun facts. Right now I can tell you that the Chef will be Devin Lowder. He will be serving 6 courses with beer pairings from Kona Brewing Company. The back drop will be Kealakekua Bay and the food will be amazing.

Who is Devin Lowder?

How do you pronounce Charcuterie and what is it?

What will his menu look like?

All of these questions and more will be answered in our postings next week. In the mean time we will leave you with a picture from our May 21, 2011 Farm to Fork dinner with Chef Daniel Thiebaut. The charcuterie in the picture is from When Pigs Fly Island Charcuterie.

Much Aloha,

Farm to Fork Hawaii
